About Us

Holmleigh is a spacious Edwardian family home, full of character with a friendly informal atmosphere. Most often described as “home from home” many of our guests return time and time again, testament to our own special brand of hospitality.

 

The house retains many of the period features including the original fireplaces, the guest rooms being warm and cosy, clean and comfortable.

Traditional full English Breakfast is provided as standard. Choose from a wide selection of cereals, fruit juice and fruits, before tackling a hearty cooked meal guaranteed to set you up for the day, accompanied by choice of teas, fresh ground coffee, toast and preserves. Lighter options such as scrambled, boiled or poached eggs, beans on toast etc are also available upon request as are any special dietary requirements.

All  guest rooms are equipped with en-suites comprising toilet, hand basin and shower and are very well appointed. The accommodation comprises double and twin/triple rooms over three floors, with ground floor availability. The rooms are centrally heated with thermostatic radiator controls for extra comfort and are equipped with colour TV, clock radio alarms, most with DVD players. Coffee and tea making facilities, toiletries and towels are provided.

Holmleigh  is open for bookings all year except Christmas and New Year, for short breaks and longer stays. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.

Breakfast is served from 8am until 9 am

 

Check in times are morning, between 10 am and 12pm

or afternoon, between 4pm and 6pm.
