From the A171 Scarborough/East coast
Follow the signs to A171 Teesside . Go straight through the traffic lights after crossing the New Bridge . Approximately 150 m down the hill, Holmleigh will appear on the right.
From the A64 take the A169 to Whitby via Pickering.
The A169 meets with the A171 from Teesside at a roundabout just outside Whitby.
Follow the signs to Whitby Town centre all the way ignoring the left turning signposted to Whitby near the garden centre. Carry straight on over the next roundabout until you arrive at the traffic light junction of the A171 and A174.
At the traffic light junction, filter into the left hand lane to turn left towards Whitby town centre. Holmleigh Guest House is approximately 150 m down the hill on the right hand side .
From Teesside follow the A171 Moor Road towards Whitby centre.
Alternatively follow the A171/ A174 coastal route via Sandsend which will bring you to Whitby centre through the West Cilff area. At the roundabout near Whitby Golf Course, go straight on at the next roundabout to another bigger roundabout near Pannett Park. Turn right at this roundabout, carry on down the hill to the next roundabout. Turn right again and drive up and over the brow of the hill until you see the sign for Holmleigh on the left hand side. |
